Blackwood Street Child Care Centre

Melbourne Child Care lists Blackwood Street Child Care Centre in Mitchelton, who continued to provide excellent Day Care care, education and support for the children and their families of Mitchelton Australia.

The Blackwood Street Child Centre is operated by the Mitchelton Community Preschool Association, a community based, not for profit early childhood services provider.  The centre was established in 1976 and provides long day child care and education for children from 6 weeks to 5 years.  

We offer an exceptional Government approved Kindergarten program with experienced Bachelor qualified teachers and certified Group Leaders preparing children for school years and beyond.

The Association is managed by a Board of Directors, elected by fellow parents, to manage the Centre in conjunction with the Centre Director. Their aim is to provide a warm and friendly, family oriented environment.

The Centre operates between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
