Lyndoch Primary School OSHC

Melbourne Child Care lists Lyndoch Primary School OSHC in Lyndoch, who continued to provide excellent After School Care care, education and support for the children and their families of Lyndoch Australia.

The Lyndoch and Districts OSHC is usually open for three weeks over the Christmas holidays - the first week immediately after the end of school and the two weeks prior to school going back. This is reviewed every year.

Our program is designed to assist children to develop life, leisure and social skills through play situations.

Children and families are encouraged to guide staff with activity ideas and interests.

You can do this:

• Informally - by making suggestions and giving ideas to staff; or
• Formally - through the suggestion box

Children are able to request activities they would like to engage in throughout each session and will be encouraged to help plan other activities.

This method of programming allows staff to provide appropriate and age specific activities that your child is interested in, catering our program to suit the individual child. It helps your child develop self help skills, decision making skills, and recreational interests. This method allows children to explore things that interest them and achieve a skill level to their own satisfaction through the most natural method of learning - PLAY!

Programmed activities are not compulsory and every child will be able to make a choice about the activities they involve themselves in.
